They may be relatively simple in appearance, but there’s a few things to take from them. For starters, just look at that detail! Gravel looks like gravel, dynamic shadows just like the real thing. If this is what we can look forward to in the next generation, then sign me up more than once!
More specifically for MGS fans, check out this screen (right) for a glimpse at the new tagging system, which has replaced the traditional radar. No doubt Splinter Cell had a hand in that decision, though we shall see how well it has been implemented once we get some hands on time (real soon, we hope).
